Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information ASTRAVEIL ("the game") collects, how it is used and who it is shared with. ASTRAVEIL is made by 2 in the AM ("we", "us").
1. What we collect
Information you give us
- Duelist name. The name shown to other players. On Steam this is your Steam display name, on the Epic Games Store your Epic display name; otherwise it is the name you choose in the game.
Information created when you play online
- A player ID. When you use online features, the game signs you in to Unity Gaming Services with an anonymous player ID. It is not linked to your real name or email.
- Ranked rating and record. Your ranked rating is posted to an online leaderboard. Your wins, losses, rating and rank are shown to opponents in online duels.
- Friends list. If you add friends in the game, your friend list and requests are stored by Unity's Friends service.
- Connection data. To connect you to an opponent, the game uses Unity's Lobby and Relay services, which handle your IP address and connection information while you play.
- Game moves. Cards you play, attacks and emotes are sent to your opponent so both games stay in sync. They are not stored after the duel.
Voice chat
- During online duels you can talk to your opponent. Your voice is sent live through Unity Vivox to the other player in your duel. We do not record or store voice chat.
- You can mute your microphone or your opponent at any time during a duel, and turn voice chat off completely in Settings.
Reports and blocking
- If you report another player, the game opens an email to us with the reason, both players' duelist names and player IDs, the duel ID, the time and the game version. You choose whether to send it. A copy is saved on your device.
- Players you report or block are remembered on your device, so their voice stays muted if you meet them again.
Information kept on your device
- Your card collection, decks, gold, settings, cosmetics and progress are saved on your own computer or headset.
Store accounts and purchases
- On the Epic Games Store the game signs in with your Epic account to show your display name, unlock achievements and check which add-ons you own. On Steam it uses your Steam account for the same things.
- Purchases are handled by Steam or the Epic Games Store. We never see your payment card or bank details. The store tells the game only which items you own.
We do not collect your real name, email address, location, contacts or payment details. The game has no advertising and no third-party analytics.
2. How we use it
- To run online duels, matchmaking, voice chat, friends and the leaderboard
- To show your name, rank and record to your opponents
- To unlock achievements and the items you bought
- To keep the game working and fix problems
We do not sell your information or use it for advertising.
3. Who we share it with
We share information only with the services that run the game's features:

Each company handles data under its own privacy policy. We may also share information if the law requires it.
4. How long we keep it
- Leaderboard scores, friend lists and your player ID are kept while you use online features. You can ask us to delete them at any time (see section 7).
- Connection data and voice are used only during the duel and are not kept by us.
- Data on your device stays until you uninstall the game or delete its save data.
5. Children
ASTRAVEIL is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has used the online features, contact us and we will delete their online data.
6. Your choices
- Play offline (tutorial, Duelist Ladder and AI duels) without using any online features
- Turn off voice chat in Settings, or mute your microphone during a duel
- Change your duelist name in the game
- Ask us to see or delete your online data (section 7)
Depending on where you live (for example the EU, the UK or California), you may have legal rights to access, correct, delete or move your personal information. Contact us to use them.

8. Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. Big changes will be announced on the store page.
